I would like to start this off by saying, I in no way hate or dislike Digimon Ghost Game so this is not a hate article. However I will be giving my brutally honest opinion on it, that being said there is no real plot it at all.
An the first episode kinda starts a little slow, which wasn't really a issue in past season's an. Yes I am well aware that they meant to episodic and there is nothing wrong with that I was absolutely down for it. It could of worked really really well if they didn't go with, the Hasbro effect and what I mean by that is Hasbro has a bad.
Habit of doing a switching out writer teams, while doing a series now not saying that is really bad cause of the team's. Can work together and keep each other informed, you can get a good to decent series example of this early 2000's transformers series. However you can get the opposite effect as well that being the the team's trying to out do each other, and that exactly happened with Ghost Game making it absolutely a mess of a series.

The saving grace of the series, was Gulus Gammamon don't get me wrong. Gammamon himself was cute an adorable and I didn't hate his other champion forms either. It's just he didn't make the series watchable in fact Gammamon was probably the blandish.
Out of the three main digimon, when we first got a look at his dark digi-evolution Gulus Gammamon. I felt excitement for the first time in the series, as this was something we needed yet we rarely got cause, the other teams didn't want to work him into their own episodes we only got him about four times? Not counting the ending he didn't get much love which is sad since he was their saving grace.

I really liked the fact that, Gulus Gammamon is actually a digi-space being especially since we have very few space based, digimon it's just a shame it took one of his final two appearance's to find that out. Now the thing that surprised a lot of is Gulus Gammamon ultimate or, perfect form in Japanese showing up.
Regulusmon simply cause it was said they, wouldn't be having it show up in the anime though I had my doubts. It's just sad that Regulusmon had a shorter run than Gulus Gammamon with only being in two episodes.

An we come to the end of, the season that was extremely a mess the whole season was a mess. With salvageable parts but the end was just the worst part of it, I liked the Gulus being from digi-space and only trying to take over the digital world to save it.
From the being that destroyed, his home world and explaining that earth and the digital world was in danger. It's just they didn't go further with it and didn't say who this being was and only showed the kids making everyone aware that digimon weren't just holograms but actual beings.
This shows how far that Ghost Game had fallen from the being and proof that there will be no season two for ghost game and to be honest there are a lot including myself who do not want a second season of this Digimon series. However I would like the concept of weekly episodic episodes for the next Digimon series for whenever that may be but only if the writer teams can work together this time, cause that is the only way it will work.
